My Skin Story features L’Oréal Paris Revitalift™

Since having children, I’ve had an interesting relationship with my skin.  As a teen I had pretty normal skin.  I had an occasional breakout here and there, but I nothing to ever fret about.  However, after having two beautiful baby girls- it all changed.  I’m not sure where the shift happened, nor do I care to try to figure it out because… that would make me nuts.

After having children, especially after having my second daughter,  I started suffering from these very hard, painful, and at sometime hot to the touch acne marks.  These we different from any other skin issues I have experienced in the past.  I started  frantically researching a term for this condition on the internet, so I could learn how to treat it topically.  Well, turns out, it was cystic acne.  Cystic acne is a terrible skin condition. Not only does it have a physical effect on your skin, leaving you with dark acne scars, but I also left me feeling very self-conscious about my one beautiful skin.

Although my skin has cleared up a bit, I’m always willing to try something that could help with the dark acne scarring left.  When I was asked to try the line of L’Oréal Paris Revitalift™ products, I was all over it! I was asked to use the line for 4 weeks straight and write about my experience.  *With skin care, it’s really important to give any skin care at least 4 weeks to start to see a difference.

To make sureL’Oréal provided me with the right products for my skin concerns, they asked me to head over to their new site,  www.lorealskinexpert.com, so I could get a customized recommendation by taking the consultation.

The quiz was very simple a stream-liner to get down to your main concerns.  As you can see,  the quiz published my biggest concern was dark spots… this quiz is good!  I was right on the money.

I was given the Triple Power line to try. This line consisted of these three products: L’Oréal Paris Revitalift™ presents the next generation of skin care, Revitalift™ Triple Power™ Deep-Acting Moisturizer. This powerful, luxurious moisturizer goes beyond a simple anti-aging cream to discuss 3 dimensions that visibly age skin: 1. Visibly reduces the look of wrinkles 2. Refirm Contours 3. Replenishes moisture

Right off the bat, I was very excited they got my skin concerns right, then upon using the products I was impressed with not only the look, but also the feel of these products. I’m a huge fan of the Revitalift™ Triple Power™ Day Lotion Moisturizer SPF 20 it repairs wrinkles, smooths fine lines, and fades spots + discoloration. I enjoyed the texture of the product, It soaked into the skin without leaving a residue behind. That’s a huge deal for me, if a moisturizer doesn’t absorb completely into the skin, it’s a deal breaker for me.   I also really loved the Revitalift Triple Power™ Eye Treatment it lifts, repairs wrinkles, and reduces bags, but what I really love the most was the cooling tip for calming tired, puffy under eyes.

Overall, I really enjoyed these products.  I think these are great skin care products that are readily available at a very affordable price. It’s so important to educate yourself when it comes to how to care for your skin and how to treat your concerns.  L’Oréal Paris is introducing a new skin care website built around the insight that everyone’s skin tells a story and no two stories are the same. With this new destination, www.lorealskinexpert.com, L’Oréal wants to help consumers find the right solution for their unique skin concern. With a personalized online skin consultation, consumers will be given their customized Revitalift skin care regimen along with easy-to-understand content from L’Oréal’s team of skin care experts to help decode ingredients, usage instructions and lifestyle tips for their skin.
