Fall Boots: A guide to the Must Haves
Boots big for Fall. Last year I wrote a post on a guide to Wide Calf Boots and last week I wrote a post on My picks for Ankle Boots. This week we are talking about Fall Boot Must Haves. This is a guide to Fall boots every woman should own. Now don’t think you have to go out and buy all these boots today. I’m just writing this as a guide to boots you should be looking for and try to accumulate over the season. All these boots serve a different purpose and we’ll get into that purpose into that later.
Ankle Boots
There are many types of ankle boots. There are flat styles all the way to a full heel. When I was choosing these styles I had moms or ladies that go for comfort in mind. As a mom, it’s important for me to keep the heel low enough to be able to chase after the kids. Ankle boots are great because they are casual and you can wear them everyday with a pair of jeans and a graphic tee. Honestly, there really can worn with most everything.
Riding Boots
There is nothing I love more than a good riding boot. I love pairing riding boots with everything from dresses to skirts and with skinny jeans and leggings. They truly are that first pair of boots you should own. I recommend having a brown and black pair. I also say if you’re going to invest in any of these styles, it should be a great pair of riding boots that you can wear for years to come.
Combat Boots
Combat boots are a trend that had to grow on me. I like to keep things simple and classic- a leather moto jacket is about as edgy as I get. But I have to say these have grown on me. I love them. I gravitate towards the embellished style to keep it no so edgy. Anything with rhinestones, studs, or a cute print is good in my book. I prefer the folded style opposed to the mid calf. I love them because they are simple, but just edgy enough to jazz up any boring outfit. I would pair them with skinny jeans, a solid tee and a scarf. Sound cute, right?
Dressy Boots
So apparently I totally missed that memo that “dressy boot/shoes” are called shooties. I find that to be very fitting because they truly are a hybrid of shoes and boots. Anyway, a pair of classic black or nude dressy booties are a must for those date nights for any Fall or Winter formal occasion. But the best part is you can wear these with anything to dress it up. I’m a skinny jean girl, I wear them with skinny jean and a blazer all the time.
Fall boots are so fun and I can’t wait until we fully get into the boot season. Like I said above, these are just my opinion and why I think you should own these boots. Please take to leave any style you don’t feel comfortable in. I will link some of my favorites and you can shop from this post.
