Giving Back to Domestic Abuse survivors

My name is Tawny . I am the voice behind GlamorouslyMommy.com As most of you may know season I am hosting a Holiday Gift Guide featuring items approved by me for everyone on your Holiday Gift list. As I started thinking about how much this was amazing to feature products in a gift guide. I began to think about those who are less fortunate. I would LOVE to host a Giving Back Video Gift Guide.

That’s where you come in, I would LOVE if you could donate an item(s) to be featured in a video as a “mini review” and posted on my blog under the Giving Back Gift Guide, then those items will be donated to the Sheltering Wings Domestic Abuse Shelter here in my hometown. This is very close to my heart.  My mother, sister and I stay in a shelter just like this one as we were trying to make it to Indiana from California to escape my abusive father. I know first hand how devastating that is to a child. If we can take the weight off one mother’s shoulder’s, and make her, and her children’s Christmas a little brighter. We have done our job.

I will along with my children take the items to the we have gathered, to the Sheltering Wings Domestic Abuse Shelter on Christmas Eve to donate. I will document this journey with video, and so you can see for yourself the reaction of the women and children.
