Influence Meet & Greet 2013
If you’re a loyal follower of GlamorouslyMommy, (f not… Welcome!) Then you know that I was trying to raise money to attend Influence Conference. I’m pleased to announce by GOD’S grace I’m going!!! Holla!!!
I literally found out about this conference 2 weeks ago. It was totally ” by accident”, but I know it was no accident. Jesus totally had this in my plan.
So let me introduce myself.
Hi, My name it Tawny! I’m a 30-year-old mama of two little girls, and a wife to my high school sweetheart. I’ve been a christian all my life. I recently gave my life to Jesus, and I was baptized a little over two weeks ago. I truly believe I was called to all of you wonderful ladies, and this conference; where I can be inspired by like-minded bloggers and influencers.

Here we go!
What are two things you will pack in your bag?
Well, I actually have the benefit of living about 20 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. With that being said, I won’t have to pack a bag.
If I did it would probably be :
1. Suave Dry Shampoo & teasing comb (because they totally go together) : Ain’t nobody got time for greasy roots or flat hair!
2. My Clipless curing wand, because I can curl my hair freaky fast ( like Jimmy Johns ) with it.
What are 2 things you’re looking forward to?
Only two, Really?
I am looking forward to EVERTHING!
This is my first conference. I’m sure I will be totally lost.
1. I hope to make life long friends.
2. I hope to soak everything about using my influence to inspire and empower others the way Jesus has called me to do.
Just a few side notes
I’m a little shy at first. I also not that great at small talk. I promise once we break the ice I’m not that way at all.
I forget everything. I swear I’m 80 sometimes. If I have to ask your name more than once don’t hate me , remember I have the memory of an 80-year-old. I’m sorry
I’m so excited.

Praise God for his faithfulness. His timing is perfect. Sounds like fun. I am glad to know there is a conference in Indy. I am just an hour plus away. Maybe next year I will go. Please tell us how it went!

I’m pretty sure we’re the same person…I’m shy and super forgetful too! I’m on the north side of Indy so it’ll be an interesting experience at my first conference where I’m not spending the night at the hotel. Congratulations on your baptism – so exciting! See you in two weeks!

So many of us are introverts at Influence that I think we tend to slide right past the small talk! It’s really such a surreal experience. My first conference was Influence last year and it was amazing!

Hi there! So great that you are able to go since you just found out about the conference. I’m driving in from Ohio. Looking forward to meeting the amazing Influence ladies I’ve bumped into in the last few weeks (online). Though it is a little nerve-wracking to be going alone and being more of a quiet observer.
