Lips you’ll love: Maybelline Color Elixir

I’m going to let you in on a little secret.

I’m lip product obsessed.

It’s true!  It’s probably the product I buy the most.  I just love lip color because it’s so versatile and  mixing and matching different colors to make new shades is so fun!

I’ve been on the lookout for the Maybelline Color Elixir by Color Sensational lipcolors.  So when I got the chance to feature these products, I jumped on the chance.

Y’all know I like my high-end products, but I LOVE drugstore products.  I love them because there are some really great products that surpass high-end product…by far.  Drugstore brands do an awesome job at providing amazing products at a price that’s suitable for every budget. These new Maybelline Color Elixir by Color Sensational lip are a bit pricier than what I’m used to at $8.99, but the quality backs the price up!

Let’s talk about this applicator. LOVE! I don’t know about you, but I’m not a fan of a doe foot applicator. I just don’t like that you have to dip the product over and over to get the color payoff you’re looking for. With this applicator, it was specifically designed this Angora, leaf-shaped applicator with long and short fiber to optimize a flawless application.

I was sent 8 of the 20 shades available, and I must say I’m loving every one of them. These hyper-saturated colors, are very smooth, give a shiny finish, and feel like butter on your lips without drying your lips out.
