Time Out Tuesday: What are your thoughts?

I came a crossed this video on Facebook this morning, and I knew this had to be the topic of this TOT! I would love to hear your thoughts on this video!

My thoughts are… this child id clearly crying out for help, and the teacher clearly not catching the meaning behind the rant. He is so right in saying that these are the future leaders of this country. Teachers should have a passion for what they do, and if that passion goes away, and a child is crying out for help and you can’t see it, it’s time to re-think why you’re still in the profession.

Let me also say in the teacher’s defense. We don’t know the frequency of this behavior, so we can’t judge the situation from this one video. But I will say that if it was me. I would be looking into getting this child some extra help because he is very smart, and has a thirst for learning.
