Weekend Recap: Cheat night, Prom Hair, and Pony Ride

The weather is finally starting to break here in Indiana, and this weekend was gorgeous!  We made it a priority to get outside and stay outside all weekend.

Friday was cheat day for me.  We ordered pizza Friday night, and stayed home and chilled and rested from all the weeks craziness. It was nice to just hang with the family.

Saturday was a little busy. We got up as a family and got the house all sparkly clean, and I did some prom hair, then we were off to one of my best friends kids combined birthday party.  The party was at a horse ranch, and the kids had a blast! They got to ride horses and play in the dirt. That’s like a dream day for my girls. They love all things girly, but they’re Indiana girls; they like to get dirty!

Actually, only Abigail rode the horse. Breanna was having no part of the helmet sharing business… she’s had lice twice in the past and she NEVER wants it again!!

 

Ho do y’all like these little sneak peeks into our family life? I think I’m going to try and make this a thing. By “thing” to would love to say I’ll do it on a weekly basis… but y’all know me. Let’s just say I’m going to share more of these posts so I can document my kids being little.
