Where to find Disney characters in the Parks

There is nothing more magical than finding your child’s favorite Disney characters, and seeing their face just light-up from excitement, but sometime’s those characters can be kinda hard to find. Disney isn’t like “other” theme parks where you can catch your favorite characters walking around the park. At Disney characters have specific times and places they are assigned to. For example, you will never find a character from Frontierland, in Liberty Square.

I’m going to give you a few tips on how to get your child first in line to see his/her favorite character.

• Character dinner’s are ALWAYS a great way to get a VIP experience for you children, there are only so many reservations taken. So you really get some nice one on one time. The character come to every table and take pictures with everyone in the restaurant.
• Character Greeting’s this is where you can go to different spots in all of the parks. The characters will be there at specific times for you to meet them and get autographs.
  • For tips, daily show times and updated attraction wait times, check the Magic Kingdom theme park “tip board” on Main Street, U.S.A. The Tip Boards are marked with a white, capital T in a black circle on your Park map.
  • Meet popular Disney Characters, pose for photos and collect autographs during special meals at certain restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort. To find meals hosted by Disney Characters, search the Disney Dining Finder for Character
• Parade’s are a great way to see your favorite characters (also, but the downside to that is you can’t get autographs. If you really want to just see the characters this is a great way to see them all! ( Tip) If you want to see all the character’s during the parade, line up when you see the “cast” roping to parade route off, you will get a great experience.
